Thanks again to LISNews for pointing me to an interesting article. This one from The New York Times explores the value of reading aloud. So, Ditalini Press members - what is the last thing you've read out loud?
Now that I think about it, the very last thing I read aloud was one of the teasers at the begining of a romance novel that I was processing here at the library. My co-worker and I were rolling on the floor.
Below is a list of past Ditalini Press assignments, displayed by the month they were originally assigned and a brief description of the topic. If one (or more) interests you and you never initially participated, well...It's NEVER TOO LATE! Get writing and post it at any time! Just click on the links for full details...

Meet the Cars
Hey this is great. Sometimes in the rarity that I have the house to myself, I do read aloud to myself. It feels pretty good.

I read the backs of books (well, the synopsis, I guess) in the movie announcer voice sometimes.
