December Topic

Utopia. Paradise. These are your dreams of what it is to be a perfect society. Many writers can write in length about the woes of our world, for these things are the easiest to relate to - our world seems to be one of eternal struggle and suffering as Gandhi might have put it. But isn't the role of a writer to provide an escape? Should we contend ourselves with our condition? Give us your version of paradise, take us for a trip, a ride if you will and give us a utopia. It is sometimes the hardest thing for a writer to do, describe what they want, their fancy, their dreams, their ideals...so I ask quite a bit of you, but that is December's writing topic.
