Angels Wink

Susan left me speechless today and that's a hard thing to do. Her impish misconduct inspired the first line of my Utopian Ode.

Utopia may be only in my mind, however, it is a place where:

Angels have a sense of humor and even good Karma can be delivered with a wink.

The meek are not forced to inherit the earth with all its chaos and responsibility, but rather to tend the gardens of plenty, fulfilling their peaceful natures
.
Mistakes are not sins, but rather lessons in life, and consequences, while painful, result in growth and maturity instead of punishment.

God is not limited by wood and mortar, creeds and commandments, but can be seen in every crimson sunrise and sunset.

Miracles are not found in moldy pieces of bread, but rather in an arid dessert where rainbow colored flowers spring from the baron cacti.

Love is not earned. It is freely given by all, and anger is abandoned as it's power dissolves in the ripples of a child's laughter.

Flutterby - I love how you ended this piece: " . . . the ripples of a child's laughter." The same could be said about the ripples of an adult's laughter, too! Mystery hi-jinks a'plenty, but I plead innocence! Wink, wink, indeed!

Susan is still an angel. I confess to the impish misconduct. Sorry and love ya. I owe you big!

Purple Passion, I was 'guilty' of impish misconduct, too - of not looking Flutterby in the eye and confessing 'not guilty' a lot sooner! It prolonged the fun and laughter, resulting in this post about her inspired Utopian outlook, so it was worth it! I love the possibility of defining 'imp' as 'an angel with a sense of humor'!

Flutterby, you get rave reviews too, not only for this Utopian outlook, but for the speed at which you are able to translate your thoughts and send them out to the universe via dP and your other sites. I believe you have a blogging angel (or imp!) whispering in your ear!

What is this impish misconduct?! If it inspired this post, then it was well worth it, this is great, Flutterby!
